College Baseball: Hunter Lemke, Texas State

Hunter Lemke pitched one inning, striking out one and allowing no earned runs Thursday in Texas State's 8-3 win over UTSA. Lemke graduated from Cy Falls High School in 2010.

Lemke is a 2010 graduate of Cy-Falls High School where he played baseball for coach Carl McClosky. As a senior 2009-2010 he was a first-team all-district pitcher while leading the Golden Eagles to a 28-6 record. He compiled 118 strikeouts in 66 innings of work on the hill to go along with a 1.87 ERA. Lemke also batted .413 with five home runs. The son of Scott and Missie Lemke he is an undecided major at Texas State.
