Janish was drafted in the fifth round (138th overall) of the 2004 Major League Baseball drafted by Cincinnati. Steven Douglas Hill went 0 for 3 with one RBI in the Springfield Cardinals's 3-1 loss at the Northwest Arkansas Naturals on Saturday. Hill graduated from Langham Creek High School.

Hill is a 2003 graduate of Langham Creek High School. He attended San Jacinto College and Eastfield College before playing two seasons (2006 and 2007) of Division I collegiate baseball at Stephen F. Austin. He appeared in 112 games over those two seasons at SFA batting .367 with 38 home runs and 117 RBIs. As a senior (2007) he batted .385 with 24 homers and 73 RBIs. Hill was drafted in the 13th round (412nd overall) of the 2007 Major League Baseball draft by St. Louis. Through 2010 Hill appeared in 370 games in the Cardinals' organization advancing through the system to triple-A Memphis of the Pacific Coast League. He is a career .287 minor league hitter with 72 home runs and 259 RBIs. He made his Major League debut with the Cardinals on Aug. 15, 2010 and belted a solo home runs for his first big league hit. Chase Morrow Lambin went 1 for 3, scored a run and was walked twice in the Rochester Red Wings's 12-7 loss to the Indianapolis Indians on Saturday. Lambin graduated from Cy-Falls High School.

Lambin is a 1998 graduate of Cy-Falls High School. He played college baseball at University of Louisiana-Lafayette batting .300 with 13 home runs and 47 RBIs during 2002 for the Ragin' Cajuns. Lambin was selected by the New York Mets in the 34th round (1,017th overall) of the 2002 Major League Baseball draft. He spent five seasons in the Mets' system having his best campaign during 2003 when he batted .289 with 49 RBIs for St. Lucie of the Florida State League (High Single-A). Jeff Austin Mandel pitched two innings, striking out one and allowing no earned runs Saturday in the Syracuse Chiefs's 7-6 loss at the Charlotte Knights. Mandel graduated from Jersey Village High School.

Mandel is a 2003 graduate of Jersey Village High School before playing four seasons (2004 to 2007) with Baylor University. Mandel logged a career mark of 14-11 and eight saves with the Bears in 72 appearances 25 of which were starts. Mandel had a career college ERA of 3.78 and fanned 151 hitters. Freddy Enrique Galdamez was released from custody, according to the Harris County Sheriff‘s Office. Galdamez is listed as living at 6969 Hollister 608 in Houston (77064). Bond for Mr. Galdamez was set at $500. He was reportedly arrested on June 18, 2011 on one charge of filing a false report to a police officer. Read more...
