The Houston Police Department reported the following nearby crimes on Jan. 23:

At 9 a.m., theft was reported in the 7000 block of Fm 1960.

At 11:30 a.m., an incidence of burglary was reported in the 8000 block of Grow Ln.

An incident involving theft was reported at 12:13 p.m. in the 14000 block of NorthweSt. Fwy.

An incident involving theft was reported at 12:15 p.m. in the 18300 block of Tomball Pkwy.

At 1:30 p.m., aggravated assault was reported in the 6100 block of Gessner Drive.

An incident involving theft was reported at 4 p.m. in the 13400 block of NorthweSt. Fwy.

At 4 p.m., an incidence of theft was reported in the 5900 block of Flintlock Road.

At 4:30 p.m., theft was reported in the 13200 block of NorthweSt. Fwy.

At 4:46 p.m., an incidence of theft was reported in the 7900 block of Fm 1960.

James Sweeney was released from custody, according to the Harris County Sheriff‘s Office. Sweeney is listed as living at 15402 Swan in Houston (77095). Bond for Mr. Sweeney was set at $200.
