College Softball: Chelsea Boles, Texas Wesleyan

Chelsea Boles went 5 for 15 with seven RBIs, seven runs and one walk in Texas Wesleyan's 10-0 victory at Southwestern Assemblies of God Univ, Waxahachie, TX on Thursday. Boles is a graduate of Cy-Ridge High School.

Boles played at Cy-Woods in 2006-2010 for coach Cliff Bond, where she lettered all four years. She received the Wildcat Award as a junior and was named First-Team All-District. Boles was also an Academic All-State and Cypress Sun Catcher of the Year as a senior. She is the daughter of Greg and Kathryn Boles. Read more...

Brazoria County bonds, March 27

On March 27, Brazoria County Sheriff reported on the following bonds:

A $500 bond was posted for Belinda W. Phan, 38. Phan was confined on March 27 on a charge of property theft ($20 to $500) by check. She was released on March 27.

The bondsman is listed as Ok Bail Bonds, Michelle Lee, at 119 E. Cedar St., Angleton.

Phan is described as a 5-foot-4 black female. She is 145 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She resides at 14603 Sweetwater View Drive, Houston.
