The Houston Police Department reported the following nearby crimes on June 26:
At 6 a.m., an auto theft was reported in the in the 8300 block of Willow Place Drive.
An incident involving theft was reported at 8 a.m. in the in the 5700 block of Northwest Central Drive.
At 11:29 a.m., a theft was reported in the in the 7900 block of Farm To Market Road 1960.
At noon, an incident involving theft was reported in the in the 4000 block of Willowbrook Mall.
At noon, an incident involving theft was reported in the in the 10800 block of Clay Road.
At 5 p.m., a theft was reported in the in the 5800 block of Windfern.
At 6:25 p.m., an incident involving robbery was reported in the in the 17900 block of Tomball Parkway.
At 6:30 p.m., an aggravated assault was reported in the in the 7000 block of Farm To Market Road 1960.
At 7 p.m., an aggravated assault was reported in the in the 14200 block of Northwest Freeway.
At 7:50 p.m., an incident involving theft was reported in the in the 7900 block of Farm To Market Road 1960.
At 7:52 p.m., a theft was reported in the in the 6800 block of Farm To Market Road 1960.
At 10 p.m., an incident involving theft was reported in the in the 4900 block of Raindrop Hollow Drive.

Houston Police Department collision call log, June 26

The Houston Police Department received 135 calls reporting collisions on June 26. These included the following nearby incidents:
A minor collision was reported at 6751 Fairbanks N. Hou at 6:56 a.m. Houston police were dispatched at 6:56 a.m. and arrived at 7:11 a.m. It took until 10:55 a.m. to clear the collision. The incident number is 080914912.
A minor collision was reported at 17375 Tomball at 7:58 a.m. Houston police were dispatched and arrived at 7:58 a.m. It took until 8:22 a.m. to clear the collision. The incident number is 080929912.
A minor collision was reported at 7301 Pinemont Drive at 12:31 p.m. Houston police were dispatched at 12:32 p.m. and arrived at 12:45 p.m. It took until 1:27 p.m. to clear the collision. The incident number is 081030312.
At 8:12 p.m., an unspecified collision was reported at 10005 Us 290. The collision was cleared by 4:32 p.m. The incident number is 081129912.
At 8:12 p.m., a minor collision involving a person who failed to stop and a give information was reported at 14000 NW Freeway. Houston police arrived at 7:25 p.m. The collision was cleared by 7:28 p.m. The incident number is 081196412.
A minor collision involving a person who failed to stop and a give information was reported at 1370 Afton St. Ston R at 7:44 p.m. Houston police were dispatched at 7:47 p.m. and arrived at 7:50 p.m. It took until 7:56 p.m. to clear the collision. The incident number is 081209012.

Montgomery County District Court criminal felony indictments, June 26

The Montgomery County district clerk reported the following criminal felony indictments Tuesday, June 26:
Verna Deann Mcclain was indicted in the 9th District Court on a charge of capital murder.
Mcclain is 31 years old, and resides in the 1956 Sugar Pine Circle, Houston.
The alleged offense reportedly occurred Tuesday, April 17. McClain was arrested Wednesday, April 18.Jackson Stephen D. 936/756-5744 is McClain's attorney.
David Charles Beal was indicted in the 221st District Court on a charge of theft.
Beal is 23 years old, and resides in the 10618 Ward Road, Tomball.
The alleged offense reportedly occurred Sunday, Feb. 19. Beal was arrested Tuesday, May 1.Beck Christopher 936-494-2444 is Beal's attorney.

Edwin Kidd released
Special to the Chronicle published Jun. 26, 2012Edwin Kidd was released from custody, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office. A bond of $15,000 was set for Mr. Kidd, who is listed as living at 10902 Dunbrook in Houston (77070). Kidd was reportedly arrested on one charge of credit, debit card abuse. Read more...

Special to the Chronicle published Jun. 26, 2012Tharon Eugene Bush was released from custody, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office. A bond of $3,000 was set for Mr. Bush, who is listed as living at 5345 H Ollister in Houston (77091). Bush was reportedly arrested on one charge of making a terroristic threat. Read more...
