    Volunteers are needed for Bus Buddy program

    Cy-Fair ISD is still looking for volunteers to help out with the Bus Buddy program come this August. Bus Buddies is a three-day volunteer program where volunteers ride on school buses with elementary students to help them get off at the right stop.

    Scholarships awarded to local Cy-Fair teens

    The Volunteer Auxiliary at Cy-Fair Hospital recently awarded scholarships to four local deserving students. Two of the students graduated from Cy Springs, one graduated from Cy Ridge and the fourth graduated from Cy Creek. The students were chosen from local graduates going into health care.

    A barren piece of landscape in the Cypress Creeks Lakes subdivision has blossomed into a butterfly. Last weekend, 33 volunteers created a butterfly-shaped butterfly garden out of a 20-foot-by-20-foot area located near a splash pad and playground in the 1,600-acre Cypress Creek Lakes

    Area students to be honored for volunteering

    Jump Fundraising Event for Alexandra

    A little more than five months ago, on Sept. 21, 2009, Woodlands resident, 9-year-old Alexandra Worthman endured a day-long, life-changing surgery. On St. Patrick's Day, March 17, the Cy-Fair Pump It Up location will hold a Jump Fundraising Event to benefit Alexandra Worthman.
