Alodia Sports Academy to offer summer basketball camps
published Jul. 10, 2012
Alodia Sports Academy will be offering 31 basketball camps this summer in the Houston area.
In an effort to provide campers with game-time experience, the Alodia Competition Camp allows players to be evaluated and assigned to a balanced team.
Each team is slated to play 12 games over four days, with an ultimate camp goal of having every player understand the proper positioning in game-time situations.
Every day, campers will participate in shooting leagues while working on improving individual skills in addition to receiving hands-on instruction regarding the fundamentals of both offense and defense in basketball.
Players will also play in three games each day at camp, along with special “crunch-time” games featuring last-second situations.
Divisions will be established for both boys and girls entering grades 3-4, grades 5-6 and grades 7-8.
The price of the shooting camp is $140 and reversible jerseys will be provided.
Shooting Camp is currently scheduled to take place from 1-4 p.m. July 30 to Aug. 2 at Goodson Middle School, located at 1733 Huffmeister, Cypress. It is a co-ed camp offered to players entering grades 3-8.
