From a press release:
Houston’s Center Stage Theater is presenting the perennial musical classic Annie on the Berry Center Stage, weekends, February 12th – 24th. A special benefit performance for the NW Houston Visitors and Convention Bureau will be held on Feb. 20.
From its Broadway beginnings to the classic film musical, this heart-warming rags to riches story of Annie’s adventures from the New York orphanage to the luxurious home of Oliver Warbucks is a tale that has been told over the world for decades and will continue for years to come.
HCST has a stellar cast of talented artists, and with a live orchestra, Annie has a brilliantly memorable score including "It’s a Hard Knock Life," "Easy Street" and of course the legendary "Tomorrow," fantastically visual choreography, and a side splittingly funny script. It is really no surprise Annie has become one of the best loved family musicals of all time.
A special benefit performance for the NW Houston Visitors and Convention Bureau will be held Saturday night, February 20th and will include food and live entertainment.
