HFAC offering dinner, dessert show March 26, 27
I have always been amazed at the variety and caliber of performing arts organizations we have singing, dancing and acting in Cy-Fair.
We really have all that we need in our own backyard. They are lively, entertaining and full of talent.
I wholeheartedly suggest taking in the nonprofit Houston Family Arts Center's show - Songs for a New World - with songs by Tony-award-winning composer Jason Robert Brown.
The dinner-and-dessert" show is on Friday, March 26 and features cabaret-style seating with tables and candlelight, and a formal hors d'oeuvres buffet. Tickets are $35 for the full package or $20 for the dessert-only" option. The buffet opens at 6:30 p.m., and the show starts at 7:30 p.m. Dessert will be served at intermission.
The show also runs on Saturday, March 27, but does not include dinner. Tickets are $12 -$16 and the show starts at 7:30 p.m.
Both shows will be performed at the Houston Family Arts Center's Rehearsal Studio & Stage, 10760 Grant Road. I hear that they are in the midst of building a state-of-the-art venue!
Other shows on the Houston Family Arts Center calendar this season include:
Little Women The Broadway Musical - April 9-18 at the Houston Family Arts Center Garza Main Stage, 10760 Grant Road. Tickets are $10.
Disney's 101 Dalmatians - April 14-17 at 2:00 p.m. at the Houston Family Arts Center, 10760 Grant Road. Tickets are only $5.
Love and Marriage Texas Style - May 7-29 at the Houston Family Arts Center Garza Main Stage, 10760 Grant Road.
