Child injured in hit-and-run at Bear Creek Park

Police are a looking for the driver of an SUV who ran down a 7-year-old girl and then drove away, leaving the child critically injured on a road in Bear Creek Park last night.
The hit-and-run happened on War Memorial near Clay not far from a group of soccer fields at about 9:15 p.m.
The girl, whose name has not been released, was flown by medical helicopter to Memorial Hermann Hospital-Texas Medical Center, Houston police said.
