Springfest fundraiser to help local nonprofit

The fifth annual Reach Springfest will take place 9:30 a.m.-noon March 27 at the Reach Learning Activity Center, 11832 Mueller Cemetery Road in Cypress.
The event helps raise funds for the nonprofit agency, which helps people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The theme for this year's event is Warm My Heart Not My Planet." There will be free tree seedlings from Trees For Houston, a walkathon, barbecue lunch, a gift shop, live music, games, a silent auction and art sale. The registration fee is $25 per person.
