Wreck closes 2 lanes of Northwest Freeway

At least two vehicles were involved in a wreck this afternoon that has shut down two mainlanes of the Northwest Freeway inbound near Huffmeister, state transportation officials said.
No injuries have been reported.
Deidrea Samuels, a spokeswoman with the Texas Department of Transportation, said the US 290 inside eastbound lane is open. Officials hope to have the area cleared by 5:15 p.m., she said.
Samuels said a Volvo and a box truck were involved in the wreck that occurred shortly before 4 p.m.. She had no further details.
