Cy Woods computer science team wins CodeWars
From a Cy-Fair ISD press release:
The Cypress Woods High School computer science team won first place at the 13th annual HP CodeWars High School Programming Contest, held March 6 at the Houston HP campus.
CodeWars featured more than 170 high school campuses pushing their competitive limits against their programming peers in the high-tech HP environment.
Cypress Woods won first place in the Advanced Division, followed by Seven Lakes High School, Plano High School and Friendswood High School.
"Anytime you compete against more than 170 of the best teams in the state, you feel pretty good about your day when you come away in first place," said Stacey Armstrong, Cypress Woods computer science teacher.
"The Cy Woods computer science team is very talented and they have worked extremely hard this year. I could not have a better group of kids
to work with."
