District teachers named Educators of Distinction

Some of the key changes in my younger life (realizing I had a voice and could exercise it, and honing in on my journalistic skills) came about because of the encouragement of teachers who saw something in me that others did not.
I dare say that I, and all of us, are better people in some way because of one more of the inspirational teachers in our past.
Recently, student members of the National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS) nominated their Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District high school teachers of choice for the Claes Nobel Educator of Distinction award, which recognizes teacher role models who have made a lasting difference in their classroom by encouraging students to strive for excellence."
Seventeen Cy-Fair ISD teachers received the award! That is impressive!
They deserve much more than a mention in my blog, but I want to send out a hearty congratulations and Thank You" for all that you do!
