Man killed by pickup on FM 1960 West

A 26-year-old man was killed late Sunday when he was hit by a pickup while trying to walk across West FM 1960 near Willowbrook Mall, Harris County sheriff's officials said.
The man was trying to cross West FM 1960 near Texas 249 when a black Chevrolet Avalanche hit him. The man died at the scene. The driver of the eastbound pickup was not impaired, investigators determined.
