Man charged in shooting death of estranged wife

A man accused of fatally shooting his estranged wife is awaiting extradition to Texas following his capture by police in Louisiana.
Jerry Belton shot Chandra Belton about 5 p.m. Sunday in the parking lot of the Big H Auto Auction, 14450 West Road, Harris County sheriff's deputies said.
