Vans Warped Tour returns to the Race Park

The 2010 Vans Warped Tour (www.warpedtour.com) returns to Sam Houston Race Park (www.shrp.com) on Friday, July 2, 2010. The day-long music and extreme sports festival, one of the top national tours in the nation, will be held in the West Lot of The Park. Tickets are $32.98 General Admission Advance and go on sale Friday, April 9 at 10 a.m.
Vans Warped Tour, which was one of the most popular and heavily attended live music events at The Park for the last two years, features multiple stages with music from up-and-coming new acts, signed & unsigned, as well as some of today's established rock, pop and metal bands. The tour will also include performances from local bands who are vying for a shot on the side stage as the tour moves to the next city.
The 2010 line up will feature performances from: Alkaline Trio, Andrew W.K., Breathe Carolina, Every Time I Die, Hey Monday, Mayday Parade, Motion City Soundtrack, Pierce The Veil, Riverboat Gamblers, Suicide Silence, Sum 41, The All-American Rejects, The Dillinger Escape Plan, We The Kings and more!
In addition, the festival will showcase extreme skating and other sports exhibitions, from biking to rollerblading and more, plus a variety of vendor booths featuring the latest clothing trends and designs from video and online game stations to downloadable music outlets and artist information. The event also includes autograph booths with chances to meet some of the tour's newest names as well as national recording artists.
Vans Warped Tour includes a rotating line-up with artists drawing for time slots daily so be sure to come out early as the day's line up will be revealed on the ledger board when gates open! 2010 Warped Tour is an outdoor, standing-room-only concert event. No lawn chairs, aerosol spray cans, wallet chains, coolers or pets allowed.
