3 CFISD soccer players named to Region team

Three CFISD boys' soccer players were recently selected to represent Region II at the annual Texas Association of Soccer Coaches Senior Showcase game, scheduled for May 1 in Georgetown.
Seniors Bryan Vazquez of Cypress Falls High School, Walter Kromholz of Cypress Woods High School and Miguel Mendoza of Langham Creek High School were all picked as members of the 20-player team that will compete in the event. This is the eighth consecutive year that CFISD has been represented in this prestigious showcase.
Additionally, 33 boys' soccer players were named to the Academic All-District 15-5A Team for their combined excellence in academics and athletics. The academic all-district selections are as follows:
