Harris County a hot spot for potent drug trio

Cindy Horswell of the Chronicle wrote a story about Harris County doctors leading the state in prescribing a trio of powerful drugs known as the "Houston Cocktail" or the "Holy Trinity."
One of the doctors mentioned in the story is Dr. Christina Clardy, the medical director of two Houston-area clinics that have been shut down, including S&G Clinic on 9110 Jones Road.
Clardy has been accused of conspiring to illegally distribute controlled substances. Clardy's attorney, Chris Downey, said she looks forward to proving her innocence.
