ABWA holding June 16 event at the Race Park

The Greenspoint Chapter of the American Business Women's Association will announce the 2010 Business Associate of the Year winner at the June 16 scholarship fundraising community event.
The Business Associate Event, themed Win with Wilkinson" will feature three-time Olympic Gold Medalist Laura Wilkinson as the guest speaker. Wilkinson is the only woman in history to win a gold medal in every major world competition in platform diving - 2000 Olympic Games, 2004 World Cup and 2005 World Championships and the only American diver in history to win a Goodwill Games Gold Medal.
This annual BAE event, set 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Sam Houston Race Park, will celebrate the support of family, friends, coworkers and employers of chapter members while also raising funds for educational scholarships.
This community event not only recognizes those community leaders who support the ABWA members and mission, but raises funds to help area students with college goals and chapter members as they continue to strive to obtain an education in their chosen career and grow professionally in the business world," said Deana Sellens and Gretchen Larson, event co-chairs.
