Williams-Sonoma offers free cooking classes
Williams-Sonoma at Willowbrook Mall has announced its schedule of free Technique Classes to be held on select Sundays in June.
The June Technique Classes begin at 12:00 noon and include:
Sunday, June 13: Sticks, Skewers & Satays. Free class will offer suggestions on serving meats, vegetables and fruits on a stick, including the principles combining meats and vegetables, how to cook kebabs perfectly, and recipes from around the world.
Sunday, June 27: Fresh to Frozen-Summer Desserts. Learn to use summer's bounty of fruits in delicious frozen desserts. From ice cream, the American favorite, to gelato, its Italian cousin to yogurt, the healthy alternative, attendees will learn how to make these frozen favorites with ease. Plus, the class will rediscover a childhood favorite, popsicles.
All Technique Classes are held at Williams-Sonoma, located in the Sears wing. Technique classes are offered at no charge, but reservations [281.807.9809] are recommended to reserve class space, which is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to class date.
Additionally, the retailer invites shoppers to stop by for cooking demonstrations on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 11:00 a.m. The June cooking demonstrations include:

Demonstrations are held in the kitchen at Williams-Sonoma. Shoppers are invited to stop by for any and all of the sessions. Reservations are not necessary.
