Cypress man killed at West U apartment party

Anthony Holton, 23, of Cypress, died after being shot twice while attending a party at an apartment complex in West University early Sunday morning, police said. A suspect has been arrested and charged with the murder.
According to the Chronicle story by Dale Lezon, a fight broke out between Holton and William Edward Hernandez, 23, at 12:15 a.m. Sunday, at The Village at West University apartments in the 5100 block of Edloe near Westpark. Police said that Hernandez chased Holton into the parking lot and shot him in the back and the leg. Hernandez was arrested at the scene.
