Add Some L.I.F.E. Programs to Your Year
Free weekly workshops held at LSC-CyFair resume Jan. 13
Get the secret to longevity, never get lost again and explore life in the universe at the upcoming January workshops.
Lone Star College-CyFair's Learning, Inspiration, Fellowship, and Enrichment (L.I.F.E.) programs are free and held Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the library (Room 131 unless otherwise noted) at 9191 Barker Cypress.
Jan. 13 - Are You a Wind, Water or Fire? - Learn what body type you are in the ancient Indian healing system called Ayurveda. Barbara Morrison of Texas Yoga Center reveals the secret path to longevity and vitality.
Jan. 20 - Find Your True North - Jason Moulenbelt will teach you the basics of an old fashion compass, how to find Magnetic North, True North, take a bearing, take a back bearing, and triangulate your position. After this class, when a person tells you to "Get lost!" you will be able to honestly answer "I can't!"
Jan. 27 - Are We Alone Out There? - LSC-Montgomery Director of the Biotechnology Institute, Daniel Kainer, explores the possibility of life elsewhere in the universe.
