LSC-CyFair offers new business program

Lone Star College-CyFair now offers a new fast-track Entrepreneurship Program for those who want to be their own boss but need a little help launching their own business.
Starting and operating a business takes a lot of effort and know-how," said Tricia Joseph, Continuing Education (CE) program coordinator. Our Entrepreneurship Program will prepare you to transform your business ideas into products and services."
This CE certificate program consists of five Tuesday/Thursday evening classes held February through May. The program begins Feb. 9 Feb. 18 with What does it take to run your own business?" It continues with Finding the Right Business. Legal & Human Elements" March 2 March 11, Finding and Keeping the Money" March 30 April 8 and Business/Marketing Plan" April 20 April 29. The program concludes with Consult with a Local Business Owner" May 11 May 20.
This unique curriculum offers a solid business foundation with a focus on starting and managing a business, said Joseph. Students will explore their personal business interests through course research and guest lectures from business owners.
Specialized one-on-one consulting is available with Lone Star College System's Small Business Development Center consultants, at no cost, as you start and grow your business," she said.
