Cy-Fair looks to dam up upset hopeful Creek

The Cy Creek Cougars might be the most overlooked team in the District 15-5A boys' basketball race.
But that could change on Friday night.
The Cougars, who dropped their district opener to Cy Ridge 54-50, will travel to meet Cy-Fair at 7 p.m. Friday.
A Cy Creek win could give it a leg up on the Bobcats in the race for the Class 5A state playoffs.
The Cougars have opened the year by winning 10 of their first 15 games, but all the talk still surrounds Cy Woods, Langham Creek and Cy Falls.
Cy-Fair, meanwhile, opened district play with an easy win over Jersey Village to improve to 13-4 on the season.
