Penn State punter Anthony Fera makes second start for Nittany Lions
Anthony Fera, Cypress native and St. Pius X High School grad, made his second college football on Saturday for Penn State University against Alabama.
Fera started for the Nittany Lions as a red shirt freshman and booted four punts for 145 yards with a 36.2 yard average. His long was 46 yards.
After sitting out the traditional Blue and White scrimmage earlier in the year, Fera fought his way through training camp and earned the starting position. As the year progresses, Fera may also be called upon to kick field goals or kick-offs.
His one kickoff in Saturdays game was for 70 yards.
