HS Football Preview: Cy-Springs v. Langham Creek
The Langham Creek Lobos (2-1) look to make a run for the District 17 title against the Cy-Springs Panthers (0-3) Friday night.
The Lobos were victorious in a tenuous battle against the Jersey Village Falcons 38-30 last week while the Panthers were clobbered 52-3 by Cy Ridge. Langham Creek is fighting for their second playoff appearance in eight years and are counting on running back Dylan Humphrey to come up big.
Cy-Springs will no doubt have redemption on the mind after last weeks embarrassing loss and will look to quarterback Afton Williams to guide them to victory and upset Langham Creeks homecoming plans.
The Panthers must be able to contain Humphrey if they expect victory and to upset Langham Creeks homecoming. The Panthers look to end the Lobos bid for a second playoff appearance in eight years.
Kickoff is slated for 7:00 p.m. at the Berry Center.
