HFAC wins Nickelodeon Parent's Pick Award
The Houston Family Arts Center (HFAC), established in November 2005, has won the 2010 Nickelodeon’s ParentConnect Parent’s Picks Awards for Houston’s Best Theatre Group for Kids.
“We are honored to win this award for the second consecutive year,” said HFAC’s executive director Bob Clark in a statement. “There are many great programs in Houston and we are privileged that parents selected our organization.”
Nickelodeon started the Parents’ Pick Award program in 2008 and is the only awards program that lets parents vote on the best family-friendly products, parenting tips and resources in 30 cities across the U.S.
“Parents appreciate our values and emphasis on family-friendly entertainment,” Clark said in a release. “We set high standards for quality, while providing classes, workshops, and shows that are affordable for all families.”
