Cy-Springs' Wilson leads Mary Hardin offense in 42-28 win
Former Cy-Springs H.S. graduate Darius Wilson carved up the Hardin-Simmons’ defense in Mary Hardin-Baylor’s 42-28 victory on Saturday.
The 5-foot-7 sophomore running back ran for 190 yards and one touchdown on 18 carries for the day.
Wilson scored on a six-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter to help seal the win for the Crusaders, which improved to 3-0 and 2-0 in the American Southwest Conference.
Hardin-Simmons fell to 3-1 and 1-1 in the conference.
Mary Hardin-Baylor travels to Pineville, Louisiana, on Saturday to face Louisiana College.
