Bolden leads Texas State offense in blowout
Junior Darrius Bolden, a 2008 Cy-Falls graduate, scored a touchdown in Texas State’s 42-28 blowout of Southern Utah.
Bolden had five catches for 108 yards and a 33-yard touchdown grab. His TD gave Texas State a 14-7 lead.
The industrial engineering major is the son of LaTerra Simpson.
He was named an All District #17-5A First Team and All Greater Houston First Team.
Playing under head coach David Raffield at Cypress Falls, he was selected to represent Texas in the Bayou Bowl All-Star game versus Louisiana.
The Bobcats are off next weekend before traveling to Hammond, Louisiana, to tackle Southeastern Louisiana University.
