Police release photo in Woodforest bank robbery

Authorities are investigating a bank robbery that occurred in southwest Montgomery County on Tuesday.

The heist occurred about noon at the Woodforest bank that is inside a Kroger grocery store at FM 1488 and FM 2978, officials said.

Officials said the man walked into the bank, handed a teller a note that stated he demanded money and that he had a gun. The teller complied with his demands and the man left with an undisclosed amount of cash.
