Cy-Creek HS grad DJ Harper suffered a season ending knee injury in Saturday’s win against Oregon State, dealing the first set-back to the Boise State offensive attack.

This is the second time in two years that Harper had his season cut short due to a torn ACL.

The Bronco’s RB has 160 yards rushing this year, including a 71-yard score against the Hokies in the opener.

He spot will be filled by Jeremy Avery, who was being used as a situation back for the Broncos.

At Cy-Fair HS, Harper was a three-time unanimous, first-team all-district pick and team captain twice. He was also voted as the team MVP. As a senior, Harper rushed for 1,570 yards and 21 touchdowns on 212 carries with 18 receptions for 160 yards.
