Cy-Creek Theater to debut "Rumors"
The Cypress Creek High School Department of Theater will present “Rumors” by Neil Simon as their its performance of the year.
The play will be performed on Thursday, Oct. 7, and Friday the 8th at 7 p.m. and on Sunday, Oct. 10 at 3 p.m. at the Cypress Creek High School Theater.
The Neil Simon comedy is the story of four couples who go to the townhouse of a deputy New York City mayor and his wife to celebrate their 10th anniversary. The party never begins because the host has shot himself in the head (only a minor wound) and his wife is missing.
His lawyer’s cover up gets progressively more strained and the situation more comical as the other guests arrive, but nobody remembers who said what about whom.
Tickets for “Rumors” are $5 for students and senior citizens and $8 for adults. Cypress Creek High School Theater is located at 9815 Grant Road in Houston.
