Cy-Creek's Jorgensen keeps St. Edwards undefeated with lone goal
Cy-Creek HS grad Troi Jorgensen helped St. Edwards University remain undefeated Sunday when they squeaked by Angelo State with a 1-0 win.
Jorgensen is the senior goalkeeper for the Hilltoppers, sharing time with Sugar Land native Claire Tilton.
As a team leader and anchor of the defense, Jorgensen made critical saves in Sunday’s game to hold on to the lead. She has 10 saves on the season, including two shutouts.
For their next game, St. Edwards will take on Dallas Baptist University on Sept. 30 at 7 p.m.
