HS football preview: Cy-Fair v. Cy-Ridge
The Houston Cy-Ridge Rams (2-2) will battle the Houston Cy-Fair Bobcats (3-1).
Cy-Fair enters the contest riding a three game winning streak. The Bobcats are a well balanced squad with three players who have rushed for at least 100 yards.
The leading ball carrier is John Jacob, who has churned out 220 yards on 39 carries while scoring two touchdowns.
Cy-Fair has four wide receivers who have caught balls for at least 90 yards. However, they have combined for only two touchdowns.
The Rams have won their last two games by a combined score of 110-23.
Cy-Ridge does most of their damage with its balanced running game. Carper Issac, the team's leading ball carrier, has rushed for 260 yards and four touchdowns and also leads team in receiving.
The senior has gained 135 yards through the air, grabbing one touchdown catch.
Kickoff is slated for 7:00 p.m. at the Berry Center.
