Cy-Fair company suing steel corporation for $49,000
A Nevada company with an office in Cy-Fair is suing a steel company and its owner, claiming it didn’t pay for goods delivered and services performed.
NCI Group Inc., doing business as Metal Building Components, filed a lawsuit on Sept. 30 in the Harris County District Court against Webster Steel Inc., and Keith Webster, claiming breach of contract.
The plaintiffs claim that between Dec. 28, 2009 and June 15, 2010, the defendants maintained an open account with them but failed to make payments required. That figure, they allege, is now over $49,000, and the defendants have ignored their requests for the money.
The plaintiff is seeking damages all money owed, interest, costs for litigation and any damages they are entitled to by the court.
The plaintiffs are being represented in the case by Houston attorneys James A. Collura and Emlyn E. Webb.
