"Woofstock" coming to Clear Lake
On Nov. 6, Woofstock 2010 comes to Clear Lake Parks Landolt Pavilion, as the annual fundraiser for Bay Area Pet Adoptions/SPCA, and takes place from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.
The event will include dog contests with prizes, breed rescue groups, dog micro-chipping services, training and socialization advice, pet psychic Petrene Soames, a Santa photo booth, retail booths for shopping, demonstrations by the Houston Canine Frisbee Club, a Houston C3 Corvette Club display, food, raffles, a moonwalk for the kids, face painting and a Blessing of the Dogs ceremony.
A $10 admission includes an event T-shirt and a $25 family ticket gets two Woofstock T-shirts.
All proceeds go to the care of the animals in the Bay Area Pet Adoptions/SPCA adoption program.
Clear Lake Parks Landolt Pavilion is located at 5001 Nasa Parkway in Seabrook.
