Recent teen suicide discussed at Cy-Fair ISD board meeting
Parents in the Cy-Fair ISD gathered at a board meeting Monday night where the subject of a 13-year-old's recent suicide was a hot topic.
The residents gathered to voice their opinions on how the district has handled the case of Asher Brown.
Many parents like, Roxie McDaniel, are outraged."What I want to happen is for the district to recognize they have a bullying problem," she said. McDaniel said her two boys who attend Hamilton have also complained of bullying and nothing has been done.
Other parents have defended the school.
"I am frustrated with the bad wrap that Hamilton Middle school is getting," said Kim Hastings.
