Langham Creek hosts Cy Fair Thursday in district football
The Langham Creek Lobos (4-3) host the Cy Fair Bobcats (5-2) Thursday in district football competition.
Langham Creek was defeated 55-27 by Cy Woods last week in a blowout that saw the Lobos defense give up 625 yards of offense to Cy Woods.
Cy Fair crushed Cy Falls 31-7 last week behind running back John Jacob's three touchdown runs.
Langham Creek quarterback Connor Feist has 15 touchdown passes and 1,874 passing yards while having thrown five interceptions this
season. He has also rushed for six touchdowns.
Feist threw a pair of touchdown passes to Robert McDonald last week.
McDonald is having a very strong year. The Lobos senior has eight touchdown receptions and 631 receiving yards while also averaging 21-yards
per reception.
Fellow Langham Creek receiver Cameron Elliott has a pair of touchdown receptions while having compiled 230 receiving yards.
Cy Fair is looking to earn their third consecutive victory after back-to-back 31-7 wins over Cy Springs and Cy Falls.
Bobcats running back John jacob had three touchdown runs and averaged over seven yards per carry last week.
Jacob has eight touchdown runs and 659 rushing yards this season while also having a touchdown reception.
Christian Cook was the recipient of a Mangrum 66-yard touchdown pass during last weeks victory.
Cook and Sean Irwin have a combined five touchdown receptions and 525 receiving yards for the Bobcats this season.
Kickoff is set for 7:00 pm at Pridgeon Stadium.
