Volleyball: Cy-Falls beats Cy-Lakes in three games
Cy-Falls defeated Cy-Lakes in District 17-5A volleyball action on Tuesday.
Cy-Falls won the match in three games, 25-15, 25-10, and 25-17. The win lifted Cy-Falls to 16-17 overall and 8-6 in district play.
Chanell Clark-Bibbs, a 6’1’’junior, led Cy- Falls with 11 kills in the match. Clark-Bibbs leads the club with 210 kills on the season.
Kim Brooks leads Cy-Falls with a 4.17 kill per game average.
Cy-Falls will host Cy-Ranch on Friday at 6:00p.m. Cy-Ranch lost to Cy-Fair in five games on Tuesday, dropping them to 19-14 and 9-6 on the season.
Cy-Lakes fell to 10-21 overall and 2-14 in district games.
Davina Fatuni, a 6’0’’junior led the Cy-Lakes with eight kills in the match. Fatuni leads the team with 105 kills on the year.
Cy-Lakes will host Cy-Woods Friday at 6:00 p.m.
Cy-Woods beat Houston Langham Creek in three games on Tuesday; moving their record to 38-1 overall and 16-0 in district competition.
