Wildcats' Huntsman commits to Air Force
Cy Woods quarterback Colton Huntsman has verbally committed to the U.S. Air Force Academy.
The 5'11" 180 lbs. Huntsman has eight touchdown passes and has compiled 870 passing yards while only having thrown two interceptions this season.
Huntsman also has three touchdown runs and 271 rushing yards this year averaging 7.97 yards per carry. He was 5A District 17 MVP in 2009. Huntsman was amazing last week in victory over Langham Creek combining for seven touchdowns and 532 yards of offense.
Huntsman and the 4-3 Cy Woods Wildcats face Utah State recruit Chuckie Keeton and the 5-2 Cy Creek Cougars this week in district competition.
Keeton recently took back his commitment to Air Force and gave a strong verbal commitment to Utah State this week.
Huntsman may be checking out the play of his opponent Cy Creek offensive lineman Kyle Bockeloh this week as it will be his future protectiion. The 6'4" 265 lbs. Bockeloh has also committed to Air Force.
