Diabetes center hosts open house
The new Joslin Diabetes Center Affiliate at Cypress Fairbanks Medical Center Hospital will host an open house for the community from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 21.
Meet the physician and staff, tour the facility, win door prizes and take part in free blood glucose and total cholesterol screenings, blood pressure checks and diabetes risk assessments.
Refreshments will be served and a ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 5 p.m. with the Cy-Fair Houston Chamber of Commerce. The center, which will officially open Monday, Oct. 18, is in Cy-Fair Professional Building I at 11302 Fallbrook Drive, Suite 307-308.
