Local airman completes basic training
Basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio is an intensive eight-week program designed to teach basic Air Force values, physical fitness and basic warfare principles. In October, Airman Jonathan T. Tuggle graduated from basic training. Along with being a mandatory step in the training of Air Force Airmen, those who complete basic training also receive four credits toward an associate in applied science degree from the Community College of the Air Force.
Jonathan Tuggle is a 2009 graduate of Vandalia Butler High School and is the son of Jerry Tuggle of Cypress, Texas and Melissa Tuggle of Fairborn, Ohio.
