Property owner sues over unpaid rent

A River Oaks property owner from Cy-Fair is suing a former tenant alleging it just stopped paying rent on a property it leased.

WL Plaza filed a lawsuit on Oct. 20 in the Harris County District Court against Exclusive Expressions by Liz LLC and Anyietie Ekpouko, alleging breach of contract.

The plaintiff says that the defendant signed a five-year lease of approximately 2,000 square feet at West Loop Plaza Center, and has not paid rent on the property.

The plaintiff is seeking damages including actual damages, interest, court costs and any other damages it is entitled to by the court.

The plaintiff is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Greg Dasher.
