3 teens charged in CVS robberies in NW Harris County
Three teens were charged in a string of drugstore robberies Monday morning in northwest Harris County.
Khristopher Lynn Wade and Cody Miles Terry, both 18, and David Cruz, 17, were each charged with aggravated robbery, officials said.
They are suspected in a robbery spree that began about 1:45 a.m. and ended about 5 a.m. when they were taken into custody, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.
In all, four CVS Pharmacy stores were robbed, deputies said. They were located at U.S. 290 and Cypress Rosehill; Texas 6 and W. Little York; the 8300 block of Louetta near Champion Forest; and Cypresswood and Texas 249.
In each of the heists, the gunmen got away with an undetermined about of cash and cigarettes, officials say. Two carried guns, a rifle and a semi-automatic pistol.
No injuries were reported in the robberies.
