Lone Star Cy-Fair to showcase local artist

Artist Patrick Palmer's Head Count show will be showcased during the visiting artist exhibition through Nov. 11 at the Lone Star College-CyFair Bosque Gallery.

Palmer deals with the human head in inventive ways, using drawings, paintings and unique images of the human form, especially the human head. He utilizes abstraction, mixed media, text and more in his art.

Palmer's works can be found in public collections at places like the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, in corporate collections across the United States and in many private collections, including his own studios in Houston's Museum District or Winter Street Studios.
