Pizza Zone food drive set for November
The Pizza Zone in Spring, Texas, has announced that during the month of November, they will be partnering with the food pantries associated with the Northwest Assistance Ministries (NAM) and Cypress Assistance Ministries (CAM) by collecting food donations from the community.
These two organizations feed more than 1,000 area families and are dependent on the charitable donations of community members to support those in need of food.
Donations will be accepted at either of two Pizza Zone locations -- 17711 Kuykendahl Road in Cypresswood or 11730 Grant Road in Lakewood Forest. Or, customers can order a pizza from home, and the delivery person will collect the donations during the delivery.
In regard to donations for this event, any non-perishable food items are welcome. Favored items for creating holiday baskets include macaroni and cheese, stuffing mix, dry mashed potato mix, canned vegetables and fruit, dry pasta, and beans. Donations are being accepted from Nov. 1 through Nov. 30.
Pizza Zone first opened in the Spring area in February of 2000 and in the Cypress area in November of last year. Paul and Debbie Gainor own and operate the Pizza Zone family of restaurants.
