LSC offer sneak preview of The Mikado

The Lone Star College CyFair Lyric Opera will be offering a special sneak preview of Gilbert and Sullivan's <i>The Mikado</i> on Wednesday, Nov. 10 in the Recital Hall, Room 102 in the Center for the Arts building at 9191 Barker Cypress.

The popular musical will begin regular performances on Nov. 18 through Nov. 20. Performances will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday, Nov. 18 and Nov. 19, followed by a reception, and at 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 20 on the Main Stage Theatre.

<i>The Mikado</i>, written by W.S. Gilbert and Sir Arthur Sullivan, is set in a fictional town of Titipu, Japan and follows Yum-Yum and Nanki-Poo, two young lovers whose love is complicated by the laws of the Mikado.

Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District students (K-12) are free with valid id.
