Coles Crossing homes attract young families in Cypress
Subdivision in Cypress offers playgrounds, sports fields, lake.
On an average morning in the Coles Crossing subdivision in Cypress, it’s hard not to notice the swarms of children and their parents walking to school.
Young families have flocking to the subdivision since construction first began there in the late 1990s
The family-oriented community is filled with amenities for residents of all ages, such as Coles Park, which features several sports fields, two playgrounds and a “lazy river” pool.
Folks can even fish off the pier at the Coles Mill park, which has a stocked lake.
Victoria Franco, a RE/MAX agent, is listing a five-bedroom, 5.5-bath Traditional-style home at 16606 Coles Crossing Drive for $700,000.
The property is a two-story estate home, and Franco says houses like it are common in the subdivision, as are single-story homes, often occupied by empty nesters.
Franco also says she is impressed by how well the subdivision has preserved the woodland area in which it was built.
“The first thing you notice as you’re driving by are the trails and trees,” she says. “The woods give Coles Crossing a lot of character.”
