Cy-Fair Walgreens sued for $100,000
A woman is suing Walgreens after she says she slipped and fell in a puddle of water.
Keely Parrish, and her husband, Jeremy, filed suit in Harris County District Court on Nov. 1, stating that Walgreens failed to keep the premises of its store, located at 8206 Highway 6 N., safe.
In her suit, Parrish alleges she suffered serious and permanent injuries as a result of slipping in a puddle of water pooled between the register and the front door of the store.
It was the responsibility of Walgreens, she says, to keep the store safe for customers.
Parrish is being represented by Houston attorney George Wilhite. She is seeking compensatory damages, as well as court costs.
